BEST:
Vuyo Mere: 6.5/10 The Dikwena captain put in a solid shift in the midfield and also contributed going forward, although he did squander a good chance in the first half. Gerald Phiri: 7/10 The Malawian midfielder was superb for Dikwena, worked tirelessly up and down the pitch and did well to nullify the Pirates attack. Bongi Ntuli: 6.5/10 Despite not getting on the score-sheet, Ntuli proved to be a handful for the Pirates defence with his power and hold up play. Ryan De Jongh: 6.5/10 Another Stars midfielder who was key to his side frustrating Pirates. He was impressive in front of the back door and broke up a number of Pirates attacks. Thembinkosi Lorch: 6/10 Lorch looked like the only Pirates attacker capable of causing a problem in the final third, while he also tracked back on a number of occasions. Willem Mwedihanga: 7/10 The Namibian defender certainly impressed on his debut for Dikwena, as he did well to frustrate Ndoro throughout the 90 minutes. WORST: Mpho Makola: 4/10 Worked hard throughout the game, but struggled to stamp his authority going forward and hardly contributed in the final third. Luvuyo Memela: 4/10 Started off well with a couple dribbles, but was anonymous as the game went on. Tendai Ndoro: 4/10 It was a quiet evening for the Zimbabwean striker, as he struggled against the Stars defence, who afforded him no time on the ball. Oupa Manyisa: 4/10 Manyisa was not overrun in the midfield, but he hardly impressed either as Pirates lacked creativity in the final third.
