Date: 29 August 2018
Venue: Princes Magogo Stadium
Golden Arrows remain without a victory in the Absa Premiership at home this season after they drew 1-1 with Polokwane City at the Princes Magogo Stadium.
Clinton Larsen's men were desperate for a win heading into the clash, having failed to secure victory in their previous league encounters.
Arrows got off to the perfect start when they went ahead after seven minutes, with defender Nkanyiso Mngwengwe heading home from a corner.
Rise and Shine did not sit back, although they were restricted to efforts from distance, with Salulani Phiri going close on two occasions.
The equaliser eventually arrived for the visitors before the break as Rodney Ramagalela opened his account for the season, after some good build-up play.
Arrows nearly restored their on 57 minutes when Lerato Lamola rattled the upright, before Ramagalela went close with an effort from close range.
Nkosinathi Sibisi went close to pulling Arrows ahead in the 76th minute but Polokwane shot-stopper George Chigova pulled off a fine save to deny the defender.
Larsen's men dominated the possession as they went in search of a winning goal but they were unable to carve out another clear chance as the spoils were shared.
