SuperSport United have completed the signing of Zimbabwean goalkeeper, George Chigova, from Dynamos.
The Siya crew reported recently that, according to reports in the player’s home country, Matsatsantsa had submitted a bid for the shot-stopper, and it has since been revealed that they have been successful in their attempt to sign him.
According to a Siya source, the 22-year-old has signed a three-year deal with the Tshwane-based outfit, and will begin his sting with SuperSport come July.
Chigova, who was Zimbabwe’s goalkeeper throughout the course of the recent Chan tournament, conceded just two goals in the competition, putting in a number of fine performances for the The Warriors.
With veteran, Rowen Fernandez, whose contract expires in June, and also Boalefa Pule, the current back up to number one, Ronwen Williams, it remains to be seen if one of them could well leave the club at the end of the season.
