Shakes' Starting XI For Bafana v Nigeria

Shakes Mashaba has named a largely unchanged side to take on Nigeria in tonight’s African Cup of Nations qualifier in Cape Town.

Mashaba’s Bafana pulled off a strong 3-0 victory over Sudan in Khartoum last week, propelling South Africa to the top of Group A and putting them on course to qualify for Morocco 2015.

Now, however, in what will be a much sterner test, Bafana will take on Stephen Keshi’s Super Eagles - the defending AFCON champions.

The back line has stayed the same, while Oupa Manyisa has come in for Keagan Dolly in the midfield, and goal hero from Sudan, Sibusiso Vilakazi, comes in for Tokelo Rantie.

Bafana Starting XI:

Senzo Meyiwa, Thulani Hlatshwayo, Anele Ngcongca, Erick Mathoho, Thabo Matlaba, Andile Jali, Dean Furman, Oupa Manyisa, Mandla Masango, Sibusiso Vilakazi, Bongani Ndulula.

Nigeria Starting XI :

Austin Ejide, Efe Ambrose, Kenneth Omeruo, Godfrey Oboabona, Elderson Echiejile, Ogenyi Onazi, John Obi Mikel, Nosa Igiebor, Ahmed Musa, Gbolahan Salami, Emmanuel Emenike

Bafana host Nigeria at 20h00 this evening as they look for only their second win over their rivals since the first encounter between the two back in 1992.
