Anglo-Nigerian Tope Obadeyi grabbed his first goal in Kilmarnock's colours in the 2-1 win against Ross County on Saturday afternoon in the Scottish Premier League.
The Birmingham born attacker netted in the 56th minute to give Killie a two-goal advantage, but Liam Boyce pulled a goal back for the home team with only nine minutes of normal time remaining.
Tope Obadeyi took to Twitter to speak of his delight at opening his goal account for Kilmarnock, and thanked the Almighty for the feat.
'' Big away win today ! Nice to get on the score-sheet as well! Thanks goes to God, '' said Tope Obadeyi.
Before the 24-year-old broke his goal scoring duck, he had gone 222 minutes without finding the back of the net for the Rugby Park outfit.
In 21 appearances in the League Two last season for Bury and Plymouth Argyle, the ex England youth-teamer managed only one goal.
Kilmarnock, who are provisionally sixth on the table, have four points in the kitty after playing three SPL games.
