Kaizer Chiefs midfielder, Siphiwe Tshabalala, has praised his friend and teammate, Reneilwe Letsholonyane, following his award at the South African Sports Awards.
‘Yeye’ was the receiver of one of Fikile Mbalula’s Excellence Awards over the weekend after he made his 50th Bafana Bafana cap in the 2-0 win over Sudan last month, and ‘Shabba’ thinks that it’s good news for both the player and the team.
Tshabalala told his official website, “I would like to say congratulations to all the winners at the SA Sport Awards including coach Shakes Mashaba and my friend Reneilwe Letsholonyane. They deserve to receive the awards after the hard work they have done for the nation.
“I am happy for Letsholonyane. He has been working hard and his hard work is paying off. It is good for his career and it is good for the team. Hopefully we can learn from his actions and also do best.”

Tshabalala and Letsholonyane have been playing together for around six years now after Yeye made the move to Naturena in 2008, one year after Shabba joined the Amakhosi.
The two midfield maestros could be in action for Chiefs against Bidvest Wits tomorrow night.
