Tokelo Rantie could return to action for AFC Bournemouth next weekend as he recovers from a shoulder injury that he sustained recently.
The 24-year-old forward hasn’t played for the Cherries since returning from international duty with Bafana Bafana at the 2015 African Cup of Nations, and it has now been explained that he is recovering from injury.
Max Fitzgerald, Bournemouth’s Head of Media and Communications, told the Siya crew that Rantie currently has a shoulder injury, but that they are hoping he will be fit again in the near future.
Rantie recovered from a shoulder injury just in time to feature in Equatorial Guinea, though this knock is separate to his prior one and on the other shoulder.
The striker has two goals for the club so far this season, but will be hoping to add to that tally as Bournemouth continue their push for Championship glory and a place in the English Premier League.
Bournemouth are top of the Championship at present with 15 games to go.
