Bidvest Wits head coach, Gavin Hunt, will have to do without Thulani Hlatshwayo against Moroka Swallows tonight, with the Bafana Bafana defender serving a one-match suspension.
Hlatshwayo picked up his seventh Absa Premiership yellow card of the season and eighth in all domestic competitions during the 2-1 win over Maritzburg United, meaning that he faces another one-game ban.
Despite picking up a number of yellows throughout the season, ‘Tyson’ is yet to see red and has been a vital player for the Clever Boys as they marched up the PSL table.
Hunt’s side can go second on the PSL table if they beat Swallows tonight, leapfrogging Mamelodi Sundowns as they attempt to close the gap on leaders, Kaizer Chiefs.
Dutch defender, Kees Kwakman, is likely to come in for Hlatshwayo, while Hunt has been given good news regarding Buhle Mkhwanazi who has been cleared to play following his head injury in the win over the Team of Choice.
