Ajax Cape Town head coach, Roger de Sa, thinks that Rivaldo Coetzee will leave the club at the end of this season, having already attracted interest from Ajax Amsterdam.
As De Sa revealed in last week’s issue of Soccer Laduma, the Dutch club were close to signing him earlier this season, however a decision was made to let him stay in Cape Town due to his regular game time.
Speaking to the Siya crew about the newly crowned youngest Bafana Bafana debutant, the Urban Warriors’ head coach said, “He won’t be in the PSL for too long. He’ll go up, and the quicker he does that the better he’ll become. There’s already talk of Ajax Amsterdam as he went there before, but the reason he came back is because I was playing him.
“The decision was made to let him keep playing in the first team here, but now it’s a different story and he’s in the senior national team. I’ve always said that he’s in pencil on my board because I feel like it’s a matter of time before he goes. I think this season will be his last season.”
