Nedbank Cup champions Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila are facing legal action due to unpaid monies.
It has been widely reported that TTM are facing financial challenges and as previously reported by the Siya crew, sources have indicated that a number of players are still awaiting their signing-on fees.
The Siya crew is in possession of a legal document requesting that current owner, Abraham Sello pay former owner, Masala Malaudzi within 10 days or face legal action.
According to the lawyer’s letter, the amount owing is in the region of R10 million, with R30 million having been paid in installments since the change of ownership.
The letter of demand also outlines the steps to be taken against Sello, should the request not be adhered to.
This includes action for breach of contract as well as the potential cancellation of the sale agreement between the two parties.
The Siya crew has made attempts to contact Sello, who could not be reached for comment, while former owner, Malaudzi, has opted not to comment on the matter.
