“I have been training individually with a local club in the township. We were just training and playing, and I came to (African) All Stars (in the ABC Motsepe League) before the Coronavirus happened and I couldn’t (join the club), but I was still training on my own. I’m grateful for the opportunity here at Sekhukhune,” Shai told the Siya crew.

As reported by the Siya crew earlier this year, Shai had a spell in the SAB League in Gauteng with VOS Milan FC.
The player is thankful for the chance to return to professional football with Babina Noko under the Malatji family, brothers Simon who is the club’s chairman and Jonas, the CEO, in line with their vision to see the team campaign in Mzansi’s top-flight.
“I am very honoured, and I am happy. I would like to be part of the success of the club. I’m honoured for the new start and I’m privileged to be here, and I am wishing for the best. I would love to gain promotion to the Premiership with Sekhukhune,” said Shai.
