In furthering their careers, and this despite being on the wrong side of 30 in age, Thapelo Tshilo and David Zulu are reviving their careers South Africa’s third tier league, after recently signing with Babwera FC in Gauteng’s ABC Motsepe League.
Tshilo – the 34-year-old defender formerly with Mamelodi Sundowns and Bidvest Wits among other clubs in his career, signed with the Gauteng outfit after parting ways with Swallows FC in GladAfrica Championship.
Meanwhile, Zulu – the 33-year-old striker formerly with Kaizer Chiefs and Chippa United among other clubs in his career, has joined the side as a free agent after struggling in search of a club in the top flight.
The third tier club, which is renowned for giving club-less professional players a chance to revive their careers, has also added to its ranks two former Chiefs MultiChoice Diski Challenge team players, Reamohetse Lekoatsa and Ntokozo Mbatha.
All the deals at the club took place in line with the recent appointment of Tshegofatso Mashego as the new head coach.
