UP-Tuks leave it late against CUT

The University of Pretoria scored a late goal to beat CUT 1-0 in a thrilling match at the Tuks Stadium on Thursday evening.

The win made it easier for the University of Pretoria to clinch a semi-final spot against UWC next week Monday.

UWC thrash UJ 5-1 in Joburg to secure semi-final spot

Former champions, UWC, shrugged off their ‘bad travellers’ tag to hammer UJ 5-1 in Johannesburg on Thursday night thanks to a hat-trick by Xolisa Makubalo.

The match ended 1-5 to UWC, as the 2015 champions secured a semi-final spot.

TUT remain unbeaten after a tough battle against NWU

It was nail-biting action as both the TUT and NWU teams left it all on the field in Tshwane on Monday night, with nothing separating them in a 2-2 draw.

The last whistle blew, in what seemed to be a long 90 minutes, and the teams were tied 2-2 at full-time.

Wits victorious in final match

A fine Thursday afternoon in Johannesburg saw Wits University defeat the University of Fort Hare 2-1 at the Bidvest Stadium, thanks to a late winner by Baliwe Moyakhe.

In the dying minutes, the home side found the back of the net, when striker Thabiso Rafanyane charged in from the left-hand side to provide a pass that fell into the path of Baliwe Moyakhe to send the crowd into a frenzy as Wits sealed the match 2-1.
