Wits and Tuks share spoils in Jukskei Derby
The Jukskei Derby did not live up to its hype with Wits and Tuks settling for a 0-0 stalemate on Thursday evening in Johannesburg.
The game begun with some high intensity, with the possession exchanging hands, but attackers on both sides were failing to get clear chances on goal.
The Tuks players grew frustrated as the game went on, with the first booking of the match going against them. Neither the visitors nor the hosts could crack the opposition defence and the first half finished 0-0.
As the game progressed however, the hosts were the ones that enjoyed the better opportunities with their fans spurring them on. Tuks picked up two more yellow cards, with Wits keeping more discipline. In the end, however it counted for nothing, as the final whistle sounded with the teams settling for a 0-0 draw.
