The business end is well and truly upon us as the race to be in the final four hots up.
Log leaders TUT have already secured their semifinal spot, while second-placed CUT are just a point away from securing theirs. Both sides remain unbeaten and have set up an intriguing match against each other in the next round.
TUT's 1-0 away victory over NWU-Mafikeng has seen them gain four places in this week's team while CUT's massive 3-2 win over UP-Tuks earned them three spots. Defending champions UWC have been rewarded with two places after their first victory.
UFH and Wits have a selection each to round off the team.
Dumisani Msibi (TUT)
The Supersport United goalkeeper showed all his experience and skills to keep NWU scoreless in a tightly fought match.
Keenan Davis (UWC)
The diminutive left back has regained last season's form at the perfect time to help his team grab their first win.
Elliot Seema (TUT)
The TUT captain remains a rock in defence but it his leadership skills that makes him stand out each game.
Bongani Matsemela (CUT)
Not only was he steady in defence but his vision and pin-point accurate long balls kept the Tuks defence on their toes.
Kaizer Maphanga (Wits)
His side may not have been on the right side of the result but he has an uncanny knack of grabbing goals at crucial times.
Jacob Hlalele (TUT)
The midfield general of the TUT side has a football brain beyond his years. His vision and decision making is second to none.
Katlego Kgetjepe (TUT)
His link up play with Hlalele makes them a devastating duo while his immense speed and lethal boot terrorises defences week in and week out.
Abrahm Singozo (CUT)
He goes about his business in an unassuming manner but his ability to sneak in behind the defence makes him a threat on attack.
Olwethu Bless (UFH)
Has consistently provided his side with an attacking edge in all the matches thus far and it came to fruition as the striker bagged a brace.
Orapeleng Manopole (CUT)
Give him the ball close to the penalty area and he will more than likely find the back of the net.
Josh Silent (UWC)
Came off the bench in this round but made a massive impact to grab the match-winning goal in a tightly contested encounter.
