Mnyamane Predicts North vs South Final

NWU-Pukke captain Bonginkosi Mnyamane believes defending champions UP-Tuks and UWC will meet in the Varsity Football final in two weeks' time.
Both sides are at home for Thursday's semifinals against TUT and Wits respectively and Mnyamane feels that there will be certain things that favour this year's top two teams.
"For the semifinal between Tuks and TUT I think Tuks will come out on top because they have the experience of being in the play-offs for three years in a row now," said Mnyamane.
"Both teams have been good this year, but I think Tuks are a much organised side as opposed to their opponents. TUT are very much an offensive side on the other hand."
Mnyamane feels that the other semifinal between UWC and Wits is a much tougher one to predict.
"This will be the most unpredictable game of the semis. UWC have been good this season, but they didn't win any of their games convincingly.
"However, UWC are playing at home in Cape Town and they know the conditions and they are used to playing on a poor pitch so they might just take it," he added.
Despite Pukke ending up four points adrift of the top four after their Round Seven loss to TUT, Mnyamane feels that the tournament was a good test of their abilities.
"It was the first time we competed in the tournament and the way we played was quite encouraging.
"It was a good experience and I feel that any of the top six teams in this year's tournament were deserved of a place in the top four," said Mnyamane.
