Ke Yona Experience Invaluable For Mogotsi

TUT midfielder Itumeleng Mogotsi says he will use his experience playing for the Nedbank Ke Yona side to develop into a professional soccer player.
The Ke Yona side lost 0-2 to a strong Sundowns outfit and Mogotsi feels that they gave the PSL champions a stern test.
"It was a great experience and we played against an organised side," said Mogotsi.
"Sundowns sent out their first team and I thought we played well in a game where the result could have been a lot worse.
"I came on in the second half and I had to adjust to the high tempo of the game."
The Ke Yona side were trained by some of the country's best coaches. They included Shakes Mashaba, Owen da Gama, Mnageni and Khabo Zondoa and Mogotsi feels that he has grown as a player in the last few weeks under their tutelage.
"It was very exciting to work with those coaches. I learnt a lot from them.
"I will use what I learnt from them and my experience playing against Sundowns to develop my skills and work towards becoming a professional footballer," Mogotsi added.
Mogotsi has been one of the standout players in this year's Varsity Football tournament and has been an integral part of his team's qualification for this year's semifinal against UP-Tuks.
The 25-year-old said his team (TUT) are looking for an improved performance after the two teams played out a goalless draw in Round One.
"I am looking forward to this game. We did not play to our strengths when we met earlier in the tournament and we want to improve on that.
"It is a Tshwane derby and there will be pressure on both sides," he said.
