Return of Dunga
UFS-Kovsies have been hard at work to improve defensively and will be happy to see the return of Dumisani 'Dunga' Tjomelane.
Dunga has returned from Zambia where he represented SA as part of the Student Football team and will provide stability to a defence who leaked four goals against NMMU.
Kovsies caretaker coach, Quinton Modutoane, feels the return of Tjomelane will help the defence's confidence as he can impart what he learned in Zambia with the rest of the team.
Emphasis was placed on Kovsies mental approach to bouncing back before they head to the Cape to face a struggling UCT. The Bloem students will be going all out to not only secure maximum points but also to improve their goal difference.
Further changes, other than Dunga, sees Lehlohonolo Thaele and Christopher Makgoe being included at the expense of Mokotjo Tebello, Mongezi Mologovane and Kakudi Moreleba respectively.
They currently find themselves in fifth position on the log, tied on points with NMMU but the Madibaz have a better goal difference.
Kovsies will have confidence they can head back home with the points as their upcoming opponents have suffered two consecutive heavy defeats.
