Can Ikeys Get Off The Mark?

UCT will be looking for their first win of the season when they host Kovsies on the Green Mile in Cape Town.
The Warriors from the Cape find themselves rooted to the bottom of the standings following consecutive 6-0 defeats to NWU and UJ on the road, so they will be playing for pride alone in front of their home fans.
It has been a tough season for the Ikeys who have just the one log point to show for their efforts thus far, and they will face another tough challenge in the form of a hungry Kovsies outfit.
The Free State side suffered a major setback when they went down 4-0 to NMMU in Bloemfontein last week, and they will be fighting to keep their play-off hopes alive with just two round to play before the semifinals.
Whilst anything less than a victory is likely to end their hopes of playing knock-out football this season, Kovsies also need to boost their goal difference so they are likely to come out firing against the lowly Ikeys.
That sets up what should be an entertaining game as both sides will feel that they have something to prove.
Kovsies will have influential defender, Dumisani Tjomelane, back in the starting line-up after his return from a tournament in Zambia, and they will be looking to keep a clean sheet whilst scoring a few goals of their own in a bid to put some pressure on the top four.
