The domestic season has come to a break as players head off to represent their respective national teams during the Africa Cup Of Nations qualifiers.
Mamelodi Sundowns currently have eight of their first-team players who are away on national team duty, all taking part in crucial fixtures in the coming days.

Motjeka Madisha, Thapelo Morena, Themba Zwane, Mosa Lebusa, Kermit Erasmus and Lyle Lakay have all been included in Head Coach Molefi Ntseki’s squad for the upcoming AFCON qualifiers.
Bafana Bafana will face-off with SAO Tome and Principe home and away, though there was an agreement set in place for South Africa to host both legs.
Meanwhile, Peter Shalulile is currently away on duty with the Namibian national team, Brian Onyango with the Kenyan national team and Sundowns’ number one shot-stopper is with the Ugandan national side.

With the u23’s, Promise Mkhuma and Sphesihle Mkhize have been included in David Notoane’s squad who will face-off with Saudi Arabia in the preparation for the Olympic Games.
