Mgijimi was known for his love of the Buccaneers and was popular among the club’s supporters nationwide as he was always present at the Soweto giants' fixtures.
He was one of those fans who was looking forward to the resumption of the 2019/20 season to continue where he left off supporting his beloved team.

Apart from being a staunch Pirates supporter, Mgijimi was also a member of the National Football Supporters’ Association, and speaking to the Siya crew, NFSA’s acting CEO Siyabulela Loyilane confirmed the sad news.
“The provincial coordinator from Mpumalanga is the one that broke the news to the group and at the moment I am trying to reach out to the family. I am more gutted because yesterday when we launched our platform on social media in terms of the supporters and everything he was one of the people I spoke to. I said to him, ‘You guys must recruit more members to join the platform.’ He was genuinely excited and for me now to get this news today, I’m in shock,” said Loyilane.
Soccer Laduma sends condolences to Sindane’s family and loved ones during this difficult time.
