Orlando Pirates are linked with a Zimbabwean goalkeeper as clubs are expected to make reinforcements to their squads in January.
The Buccaneers have used two goalkeepers in their campaign so far this season in Wayne Sandilands and Joris Delle, while Siyabonga Mpontshane is yet to get a chance under Rulani Mokwena.
It is believed that Dynamos goalkeeper Simba Chinani is still a target for the Soweto giants, as he was last year.
At the end of last year, it was confirmed in Zimbabwe that Pirates were one of the clubs interested in Chinani.
At the time, it was reported that Pirates had been joined by clubs in Tanzania, Saudi Arabia and Dubai with their interest in the 23-year-old,
Pirates still have one space open for a foreigner in their squad, with the club having registered Delle, Justin Shonga, Augustine Mulenga and Austin Muwowo in this season’s team.
