Former Mamelodi Sundowns and SuperSport United attacker, Mame Niang has revealed his all-time best Premier Soccer League XI.
The 36-year-old was well travelled during his professional career, where he joined Moroka Swallows in his first stint in South Africa, before playing football in Germany, Norway, Cyprus, while in and out of Mzansi.
Speaking to Soccer Laduma this week, Niang revealed the 11 players who he would choose for his PSL dream team.
In goal, the retired Senegalese striker has chosen to go with Mamelodi Sundowns’ Denis Onyango, followed by former Kaizer Chiefs and Swallows defender, Mohammed Ouseb alongside Alje Schut in a centre-back partnership.
As full-backs, Niang has chosen Sibusiso Khumalo on the left while Swallows’ Vuyo Mere turns out on the right.
Meanwhile George Maluleka, Andile Jali and Jabulani Maluleke make up the midfield.
In attack, Niang has chosen Daine Klate on the left-wing, former Swallows’ Cecil Orsen on the right, with Jose Torrealba upfront in the number nine position.
