Luvuyo ‘Amigo’ Memela has revealed the important thing that his team will need to do in their pursuit of points to move up to a better position on the DStv Premiership log.
Having scored six goals already this season, Memela is one of the players that AmaZulu coach Benni McCarthy will be looking at for goals in their match against SuperSport United on Wednesday as they will be attempting to improve on their 10th position on the standings.

The former Orlando Pirates winger says the Durban-based outfit has got a chance to pick up the maximum points against Matsatsantsa.
“Obviously, we are ready as the team and we know we need to get the points, especially the three points. But what’s important is that we focus on ourselves and we play how we played the previous game even though we didn’t take our chances. We need to make sure that we’re compact and try to get the maximum points,” said Memela, speaking to the club’s media department.

“But if you go to SuperSport and don’t give them the respect and think that it’s going to be an easy game (you may be surprised). We know it’s not going to be an easy game and what‘s important is to focus on our game and if we play the way we played the last game I’m sure we will get a couple of goals and we might win the game,” added the 33-year-old.
