In This Week's Edition Of Soccer Laduma

In this feature, Soccer Laduma speaks those who have worked with and under him in order to find out what makes the 55-year-old a cut above the rest.  

Kaizer Chiefs 50th-anniversary special (Part 8)

Away from the prestige of the Glamour Boys, the first 12 months of the club’s existence was hardly glamourous. In a time when there was no formalised national league, small knockout tournaments became the most viable route to establishing themselves during this period. Soccer Laduma takes a trip into the early days of Amakhosi.

The retired goalscorer and LaLiga ambassador spoke to Soccer Laduma’s Kurt Buckerfield, giving his take on why he decided to represent Mali instead of France, the reason why he left the Lilywhites for Spain and the controversy that occurred when he played against FC Barcelona.

GladAfrica Championship interview

Soccer Laduma’s Peter Raath caught up with Richards Bay FC striker, Khanyisa Mayo, as he shared his football dream, representing South Africa in the U17 World Cup and why he decided to leave SuperSport United.

Revolving Column

In this week’s revolving column, we caught up with former Bafana Bafana international, Matthew Booth, as he reflects on the 2010 FIFA World Cup. With the 10th anniversary of opening day on June 11, the 43-year-old shared what the global showpiece did for South African football, whether or not the landscape in the local game has changed since then and more.
