News reaching Siya crew is that AmaZulu FC have identified a replacement for Sibusiso Mabiliso, who is set to leave Durban for Johannesburg at the end of the season.
As previously reported by the crew, Usuthu may lose Mabiliso for free as he is yet to extend his stay at the club. Mabaliso looks likely to join Kaizer Chiefs, who are monitoring the player's situation.
According to sources, Cape Town City's Edmilson Dove has been earmarked as a cover for the young defender, and discussions behind the scenes are that the Mozambican may make the move to Durban from the Mother City and reunite with former coach, Benni McCarthy.
Edmilson is out for the rest of the season due to injury, and as a result, is not registered with the Cape side for the second half of the campaign.
As previously reported by the Siya crew, Roland Putsche looks likely to be among the players set to join AmaZulu next season, with a mass overhaul expected at the club.
Usuthu may exceed their foreign quota, should the club secure deals for the Austrian and Mozambican.
It is understood that the AmaZulu are set to release Ghanaian Samuel Darpoh and Zimbabwean Talent Chawapiwa at the end of the season, which will free up foreign spots for Usuthu's transfer targets.
