Rushine De Reuck, who is very much on the radar of the country’s Big Three outfits, has revealed what he would like for his future.
The Maritzburg United centreback has said he is keen on returning to Europe, where he spent a year as a teenager before his spell was cut short.

His form at the moment has put Mamelodi Sundowns, Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates on high alert and it is likely he could make a step up in his career before long.
For now though, he remains at the Midlands club.
“I would like to go back to Portugal, I love that country. And maybe I could look to go to play in France – those are the two leagues I would love to play in,” De Reuck told journalists in an online interview recently.
“I think I would do well there because I have played in Portugal before and was part of Pacos Ferreira’s B-team for six months under coach Paulo Fonseca, who is the head coach of AS Roma now. So I would like to go back to Portugal – but I don’t know of any interest for now.”
It ties it to what he has already said in the past that the next big step for him, personally, is to win a Bafana Bafana cap to boost his chances of going abroad.
But if the Big Three come knocking and the price is right, a switch to Gauteng for the Western Cape born player wouldn’t hurt.
