Kaizer Chiefs are yet to make any formal approaches with regards to the long-term future of one of their midfielders.
George Maluleka, with several other players at the club, is currently in the final six months of his stay at Naturena, which subsequently sees him eligible to open talks with any interested suitor.
While the player remains a top professional and fully committed to bringing success back to Amakhosi, his long-term future is yet to be decided by the club.

Sources indicated in the past that Chiefs were already preparing a new deal for the 31-year-old, although, weeks later and the club is yet to formally approach his camp.
The player’s representative, Sean Roberts confirmed the latest on Maluleka’s situation by saying, “We are still waiting to hear from Chiefs regarding George, but we remain positive about his long-term future at the club. The player on the other hand, remains a top professional and is not focused on anything other than giving 100% to the team for the rest of the season.”
As things stand, Maluleka is free to open up talks with any interested suitor, put pen to paper on a pre-contract and leave on a free at the end of the season.
