TS Galaxy have confirmed acquiring a top-flight status in South African football after completing the sale of Highlands Park.
The former Nebank Cup champions have issued a statement confirming the sale as they prepare for life in the elite league for the first time in their history:

TS Galaxy Football Club is proud to officially announce the acquisition of the status of Premiership division club, Highlands Park FC.

The acquisition comes at the back of lengthy and delicate discussions, where a mutual agreement was finally reached by both parties which will see TS Galaxy Football Club campaigning in the premier division of South African football as of the 2020/21 season.
As confirmed by the club, the Rockets will play matches at the Mbombela Stadium as their home venue for the 2020/21 season, after the team’s usual home venue, Kameelrivier Stadium did not meet the standards of hosting top-flight matches as prescribed by the NSL Rules.
