A Kaizer Chiefs player who was officially transfer-listed by the club last week has surfaced at elsewhere ahead of the new season.
The Siya crew has consistently reported that Yagan Sasman is expected to join Swallows as part of the agreement that led to Njabulo Ngcobo moving to Naturena as soon as the FIFA ban was lifted as of July 1.
Indications are that Sasman has been introduced to his new teammates and started training with Swallows this week.
But the two clubs have yet to make an official announcement regarding the Cape Town-born utility defender, although coach Brandon Truter has already welcomed him to the Dube Birds along a few other new players at the club.
Sasman joined Chiefs in June 2019 under then coach Ernst Middendorp and has featured in a mere 32 matches since then.
He was hardly used by Gavin Hunt last season, with his successor, Stuart Baxter, also not keen on keeping him on board.
As a result, the player has been placed on the transfer list and the Siya crew has it on good authority that he is at Swallows and awaiting confirmation from his parent club over what type of agreement has been struck by the two parties.
Sasman's contract with Amakhosi expires in June 2022.
