During his professional career, Cape Town-born Luyolo Mapolisa played for Black Leopards and Golden Arrows, among other clubs in Mzansi.

Polokwane City captain Jabu Maluleke and Highlands Park’s Rodney Ramagalela are some of the stars he played with.
In selecting his PSL XI of all time, Mapolisa has included Maluleke and Ramagalela in his team, as well as other well-known stars – the likes of former Orlando Pirates winger Khethokwakhe Masuku and Tintswalo Tshabalala, who was previously with Platinum Stars.

Mapolisa has picked mainly his former teammates from Lidoda Duvha in his team. The 37-year-old retired from professional football in 2014, following spells at FC Cape Town and Roses United respectively.
