A potential move to the Absa Premiership for Zimbabwean midfielder Ralph Kawondera is in jeopardy.
Kawondera, who had been the Soccer Star of the Year runner-up in Zimbabwe, has been linked with no less than two clubs in Mzansi.
However, due to the Coronavirus outbreak that has put everything on hold worldwide, the FC Platinum player’s potential move has become increasingly in doubt.
“I’m afraid... with the pandemic that we are facing at the moment. The deal might be affected because no one is aware when it will end,” Kawondera told Zimbabwean publication H-Metro.
“Of course, we are talking and waiting for things to go back to normal but you know that (with the) uncertainty, you don’t know when this will end,” the former Triangle United captain added.
Maritzburg United and Baroka have both been linked with the services of the highly-rated.
