Pitso Mosimane’s Al Ahly side will face off with Zamalek later this month in the CAF Champions League final and his former player has a message for the head coach ahead of the encounter.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns head coach joined the Egyptian giants back in October this year, where he’s been enjoying impressive results with Al Ahly, while also qualifying for his second CAF Champions League final.
Keagan Dolly, who plied his trade under Mosimane and won the CAF Champions League with the head coach at Sundowns back in 2016, has a message of support for the 56-year-old.
“It is always great to see someone from South Africa, someone who you’ve worked with the past - going on to do greater things and for him, he’s always been very ambitious and you could see from his team performances, even from when I was there, we always wanted to win because of the person he is and I just want to wish him all the best going into the final. Hopefully, he can win and keep on representing South Africa,” Dolly told the media.
The final takes place on 27 November.
