After what has been a busy transfer window for some clubs in the DStv Premiership, the signing of a Gambian international midfielder has also been concluded, with the announcement expected to be made in the coming days.
Having signed Venezuelan forward Darwin Gonzalez and young Mogamat May among other changes at Cape Town City, following the departures of Bradley Ralani, Fagrie Lakay, Abbubaker Mobara and Abdul Ajagun, the Citizens are expected to announce the signing of Kajally Drammeh from Gambia.
As confirmed to the Siya crew by sources in the know, Drammeh’s signing was completed before the transfer window closed on Monday, but the player's arrival, along with the announcement by the club was delayed due to Covid-19 travel restrictions.
Drammeh is a talented 18-year-old, and he comes from Real de Banjul in his country and had reportedly attracted interest from Anderlecht among other clubs, before agreeing on a move to the Mother City outfit.
