TBT: Potent Lanky Finisher Lungisani Ndlela

He was once a lethal striker in the PSL, posing an aerial threat for opposition defenders. These days the former Bafana Bafana international works as a correctional services officer. 

It was at Moroka Swallows, SuperSport United and Mamelodi Sundowns respectively where Ndlela made a name for himself.

Standing at an impressive 2 metres tall, the Frankfort-born striker entertained fans with his trademark headers and his flamboyant celebrations to match.

The 39-year-old hung up his boots in 2011 and thereafter took up his job at Witbank's Paxton Prison.
