The striker has been the journeyman of Mzansi football, having turned out for eight local top-flight clubs such as Hellenic, SuperSport United, Mamelodi Sundowns, Golden Arrows and Orlando Pirates.
Like Collins Mbesuma, Mashego boasts the impressive feat of having scored for every club he has played for, most notably when he picked up the top goalscorer award in the 2012/2013 season with 13 goals while he was still with Swallows.
The veteran striker has made more than 240 Premiership appearances - scoring 73 goals in the process. He also featured 22 times for his country, scoring on two occasions for the national team.
