What’s the story?
It has been a tough couple of weeks for Amakhosi supporters, given the circumstances that the club find themselves in currently.
Last week, the club revealed that they had parted ways with coach Stuart Baxter, ending a largely unsuccessful second stint at Naturena.
As Baxter returned to Soweto, fans were jubilant, especially since he has been one of the most recent coaches who brought silverware to the club. However, things did not go as planned the second time around, especially seen in the numbers.
Not A Good Look
Baxter and company managed just nine wins, while recording eight losses and six draws in 23 games during the 21/22 season.
That said, Chiefs took on Stellenbosch this past weekend as the Western Cape team rubbed salt into their wounds by beating the Glamour Boys 1-0 at the Danie Craven Stadium.
To make matters worse for the supporters, a clip of Khunyedi sending Ngezana to the deck with a deft touch made its rounds on social media.
