What’s the story?

Games between Sundowns and City have always proven to be feisty affairs, with both teams known for playing enterprising football.

In their most recent match however, the game played out to a 0-0 draw however, it was the end objective for Sundowns that mattered. The Chloorkop side needed just a point to clinch the DStv Premiership title.

In doing so, Downs won their fifth league trophy in succession as they continue to assert their dominance on the local game and overall, claimed their 12th league title.

Ralani X Fielies 

After the game, the mutal respect between players were there to see as the two side continuously challenge each other on the pitch where good football is concerned.

For two players in particular, Surprise Ralani and Taariq Fielies were seen exchanging jerseys as they smiled for the camera.
