Keep Up The Good Work – Itu’s Appreciation Post To Bvuma

Itumeleng Khune may be playing second fiddle between the sticks for Kaizer Chiefs in recent times, however, that has not stopped the veteran from showing his support to his teammates. This is seen in one of his latest appreciation posts. Check it out!

What’s the story?

With Khune turning 34 in June, the PSL veteran has in the last couple of seasons, played mostly as a second choice goalkeeper to the likes of Daniel Akpeyi and Bruce Bvuma.

Khune made just 18 appearances for Chiefs this season, compared to in years gone by where he established himself as one of the club’s most important components.

Itu also conceded 25 goals so far this season, the most efforts he let in since the 2012/13 campaign (25 conceded) despite playing 12 games less.

Khune Appreciates

Nonetheless, Khune remains a positive figure, as seen with some of his social media updates despite not being a first-team regular.

Often lauding and applauding his teammates from the sidelines as well, Khune recently took to his social media handles in sending Bvuma a heartfelt appreciation post.

Khune said, “Appreciation Post @brucebvuma_44 #GodIsGreat. Keep up the good work Brother.”
