Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune is currently one of the longest-serving players at the club and recently, the 33-year-old shared a cute Amakhosi team photo during his time with the u/13 squad. Check it out!
Over the years, Khune built a reputation for being one of the PSL’s finest talents with many of his legion of fans feeling that the shot-stopper should earn legendary status once he retires from the beautiful game.
Khune made his debut for Chiefs back in the 2007/08 season and has since gone on to cement his place in Chiefs starting XI for years to come, however, these days Itu shares the goalkeeping duties alongside Nigerian international Daniel Akpeyi.
Nonetheless, the PSL veteran took to his social media accounts in uploading a photo of the Chiefs U13 team back in the year 2000 as he mentioned, “ #TB @kcfcofficial U/13 2000 look at that charmer in green and Red Pants, I’ll still HOLD on to my Dream. Bunch of Great Players.”
