It can be said that Manchester United star Marcus Rashford is currently the darling of world football, and following his off-field heroics, a giant mural was recently created in his honour. Check it out!
The 23-year-old has been relentless in his charitable efforts this year, particularly in raising funds to help feeding UK children in need during the coronavirus pandemic.
His recent efforts saw him urge UK prime minister Boris Johnson to implement a £170 million (R.3.4 billion) COVID-19 winter grant scheme, with the feeding programme extended to the Easter, summer and Christmas breaks in 2021.
For his efforts during the pandemic, Rashford was awarded with an MBE (Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire) an honour given to those who have made outstanding achievements in service to communities which has long-term impact.
That being said, Rashford also had a giant mural created in his honour in the Manchester suburb he grew up in, with images of the black and white painting having been a huge topic of conversation on social media in recent days.
