Mpumalanga Black Aces beat Bloemfontein Celtic 3-2 on penalties on Sunday to clinch a spot in the Telkom Knockout quarterfinals.
Amazayoni started the game brightly as they held on to the ball in the first 10 minutes, knocking it around well without creating too much in the final third.
The visitors' in-form striker Collins Mbesuma provided his side with a cutting edge again in the opening half but sent his effort over the bar in the 35th minute.
Just before the half Mbesuma threatened the Celtic goal again, putting in a strike on target on this occasion, but Tignyemb did well to deny the striker with a good save.
The Phunya Sele Sele goalkeeper was required to make another save in the 65th minute as he denied Manyama, keeping the sides level at 0-0.
