Kaizer Chiefs will have been worried to see Ramahlwe Mphahlele limp off the field for Bafana Bafana last night ahead of this weekend's Soweto Derby.
The Amakhosi defender was handed a starting berth by Stuart Baxter as Bafana went into battle with Paraguay on Tuesday evening, however, had to be replaced by Thami Mkhize in the 57th minute as South Africa chased an equaliser.
Giovanni Solinas, who has used 'Rama' in almost all of the Amakhosi's games this season, will have been concerned to see Mphahlele leave the field in the manner in which he did, however the Siya crew has been informed that it was more of a preventative measure from Baxter and his technical ream rather than due to an actual injury.
Mphahlele is likely to be assessed on his return to Naturena this week ahead of the clash with Orlando Pirates on Saturday, though as things stand it is thought that he will be ok to feature as the Glamour Boys aim for a place in the Telkom Knockout final.
