Mamelodi Sundowns head coach, Pitso Mosimane, was pleased to see Mogakolodi Ngele and Bongani Zungu among the goals.
Both midfielders were on target for the Brazilians, as they recorded a 6-1 win over Free State Stars to secure their spot in the Telkom Knockout semi-finals.
"I'm happy that Ngele is coming up, he won Man of the Match, the poor boy needs a little bit of time to play, we need to introduce him slowly," Mosimane said after the game.
"I'm happy Bongani (Zungu) scored with his head, look when it's already four or five, you've got your passing lines and it becomes much more easier."
Mosimane also explained why he decided to withdraw Khama Billiat at the start of the second half.
"We had to change in the second half, because Venter was coming inside and Mohomi always stayed there, so we had to make sure that the full-back stay the first five minutes," he added.
"And we had to increase the midfield, because they were coming in there, hence we had to put on Teko, we needed a three-man midfield, hence we brought on Teko to play with Kekana and Bongani in midfield and then everything was okay.
