Penalty Shootout Predicted, How Will Chiefs & Bucs Do In TKO?

A win on penalties is the prediction by one of Mzansi's football legends, as Kaizer Chiefs prepare to take on Orlando Pirates this coming weekend. The Soweto giants will clash in the much-anticipated Telkom Knockout semi-final match at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday.

The Buccaneers defeated Amakhosi 2-1 in their Absa Premiership match played at FNB Stadium on October 27, though this time around it could go into extra time with a spot in the final at stake.

Speaking to Soccer Laduma radio this week, former Pirates goalkeeper John Tlale has explained that he thinks the game will be decided through a penalty shootout.

“It’s going to be a close game, it’s a cup game and things will be cautious. It’s going to be tense. I think Chiefs will try to pack the middle of the park and use the counter attacks. The game will end as a draw and Chiefs will win on penalties. I don’t believe that Chiefs will lose twice in a row,” commented Tlale.

Tlale has had more to say about the sold-out encounter on Soccer Laduma radio. To listen to the full interview, click on the radio podcast below.
