Keagan Dolly was outstanding for Mamelodi Sundowns in their 3-1 win over SuperSport United in a Telkom Knockout semifinal on Saturday night.
He was a constant threat in attack and had a hand in all three goals which rightly saw him handed the ‘man of the match’ award.
Speaking after the match Dolly said they targeted right-back Michael Boxall in defence.
“Credit must go to the coach and my teammates,” said Dolly after the game.
“They have been working hard and it showed by our performance against SuperSport.
“We saw (Michael) Boxall is a bit slow, so I stayed wide and tried my best to get behind him and get crosses into the box.
“It paid off and we got the goals.”
Looking ahead to the final Dolly said he and his teammates can’t wait.
“It is going to be my first final and I am excited,” added Dolly.
“I’m sure my teammates and the coach is excited as well.
“This is for the supporters and all the Sundowns people.”
