Mamelodi Sundowns will host AmaZulu FC in the last 16 of the Telkom Knockout cup competition, with Hlompho Kekana eager to continue on their home run.
The Brazilians have lost just one game all season in all competitions and after exiting the MTN8 competition in the semi-finals, they will be eager to improve their cup form.

Sundowns will have an opportunity once again to add to their domestic cabinet, when they come up against AmaZulu, who are newly under the mentorship of Head Coach Jozef Vukusic.
“I have watched three of AmaZulu’s last matches under the new coach (Jozef Vukusic) and I can see they are playing well. When I look at that team, they are solid and dangerous. They have good players and Bongi Ntuli is still there leading the line,” Kekana said on Sundowns’ official website.
“We know the responsibility that we carry as a team like Mamelodi Sundowns. We just want to try and win every match that we play. It’s not going to be easy because everyone comes against us highly motivated, but we want to continue our good run. But we are playing at home in this TKO fixture and we have been doing well at home so far this season and the plan is to continue with the same momentum. It would be nice to win this one in our own backyard,” he added.
