The Telkom Knockout quarter-final draw will be held this coming week and Soccer Laduma takes a look at some images of the qualifying seven teams so far.
Chippa United and Bloemfontein Celtic will be the last two teams to kick-off in the round of 16 of the Telkom Knockout competition on Tuesday, where the draw will take place thereafter.
Maritzburg United opened the last 16 of the competition with a win against Bidvest Wits on Friday night, with penalties deciding the encounter.
It seems penalties was the order of the weekend, with everyone besides Mamelodi Sundowns, Golden Arrows and Orlando Pirates heading through after full-time and/or extra-time.
Cape Town City suffered their second defeat to Kaizer Chiefs at the Cape Town Stadium on Saturday after Amakhosi sealed a win on penalties, with SuperSport United clinching a win in similar fashion against Baroka FC.
Highlands Park also took their encounter against Black Leopards to penalties, with Head Coach Owen da Gama’s side now one step closer to possibly their second cup final of the season.
Maritzburg, Chiefs, Sundowns, Highlands, SuperSport, Pirates and Arrows will now wait to see who will join them in the quarterfinals of the competition, after Chippa host Celtic in Port Elizabeth.
