Baroka Talk Bonuses & Their ‘Slight Edge Over Bucs’ For TKO

Baroka FC is confident of causing an upset in their Telkom Knockout Final match against Orlando Pirates this coming Saturday.

On their way to the final, Bakgaga have caused upsets against Mamelodi Sundowns and Bidvest Wits as they are yet to concede a goal from the three TKO matches they have played. 

A 2-0 win against Golden Arrows was followed by another 2-0 against Sundowns, as well as the 1-0 win over Wits as the Limpopo outfit marched on to their first ever final in professional football. 

Clubs CEO, Morgan Mammila, has promised that Baroka players will receive bonuses for their impressive work, although he wouldn’t state how much. 

“Our club bonus structure is better than most teams. Only one team in the PSL is better than us when it comes to the bonuses. Win or lose, the players will be smiling all the way to the bank,” said Mammila in an interview with Soccer Laduma radio this week.

According to the CEO, Bakgaga have studied the Buccaneers and are aware of their strengths and weaknesses.

“Pirates (are) a good team but they have weaknesses. One thing that makes us happy is that they concede goals. We have not conceded goals in the recent games so we have got a slight edge over them in this final,” he said.
