Orlando Pirates head coach, Rulani Mokwena is confident that his side will eventually see the results they’ve been working so hard for.
Pirates have won just two league games so far in the 2019/20 season, unable to find their rhythm following the technical team reshuffle.
However, Mokwena, who took over the helm following Milutin Sredojevic’s departure, is confident that his side will eventually get back to winning ways.
“We are knocking on the door, but the door will open, it has to open, I don’t know when, I don’t know which game but it will open. We will win games, we have enough quality within the squad, we’ve got enough quality within the technical team, we believe in the players and of course we make mistakes. We made a couple (against Stellenbosch).”
“I take full responsibility as the leader of the team, I don’t shy away from that, I put my hand up and I am the first one to say – if anyone is to blame, the first one is the coach and that’s me. I have to take it and learn from it,” he said.
